Dear Perfect Stranger,

How are you doing? While surfing the web, I came across this great story.

An elderly Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life…

He said to them “A fight is going on inside me, it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One wolf is evil – he is fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, competition, superiority and ego.

The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you, and insider every other person too.”

They thought about it for a minute, and then one child asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win, Grandfather?”

The elder simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Which wolf do you feed?

Your friendly picker upper 🙂

I think this story speaks to so many people. It really does feel like we are all battling with the person we want to be and the person we have become. We all have good and evil in us.

  2. Sometimes it becomes a matter of who is easier to feed. Nobody wants to be in that position but so many are. It’s almost always easier to feed the evil one.

I’m going to keep trying to feed the good wolf. Don’t feed the bad wolf.
