In the case of good books, the point is not how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.

To the lighthouse by Virginia Woolf is one of my favorite books of all time. Why? I can’t figure that one out yet.

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is a very important book with a strong message. I find thats the casewith many dystopian novels but this one sticks out through its portrayel of a woman’s complete loss of power over her body. Its certainly something to consider in light of the recent political isses regarding women’s rights.
